Bio
The Willagee Community Art Group is a small, friendly group of amateur artists, many of whom have been meeting together for over ten years. It includes a number of experienced artists, some who’ve won awards and sold numerous works, but those of every skill level are most welcome and are made to feel comfortable and are helped and encouraged to develop their art.
Members use a diverse range of mediums and a variety of styles, enabling them to provide support and advice to new artists and allowing them to offer a structured critique at the end of each session.
The group meets on Monday and Thursday afternoons and is based at Willagee Community Centre on the corner of Winnacott and Archibald Streets, Willagee where new members are always welcome.
The group has a three week exhibition in place overlapping Melville Open Studios 2023. Their artwork will be on display at AH Bracks Library in Melville.
