Jacqueline Gibson

Artist Bio

Jacqueline is an award winning artist who has been working with textiles for over two decades – teaching, exhibiting and curating. Jacqueline is self-taught, and experiments and creates through felting, printing, dying and stitch to produce sculpture and wearable artworks. Interested in re-purposing she also uses plastics and discarded objects – the challenge being to use traditional techniques in a non-traditional way and combine found “treasure” to develop multilayered works of art.
