Bio

Founded in 1969, The Embroiderers’ Guild of WA is a learning community for anyone with a love of embroidery and textiles. The Guild caters to all skill levels and aims to nurture aspirations of all embroiderers to develop knowledge, technique and artistry in all forms of embroidery and lace, traditional and contemporary.

Guild members can join general or specialised embroidery groups, enrol in workshops, access the extensive lending library and participate in exhibitions. The Guild also has a highly regarded collection of over 2000 antique and contemporary embroidered textiles and lace from around the world.
