Artist Bio

Sally Smith is a full time ceramicist, working and running workshops from her garden studio in Palmyra. Sally creates unique pieces with emotional authenticity, preferring essential beauty over conventional perfection. Her work is all hand thrown, and she will occasionally use hand building techniques.

Sally is influenced by her home near the ocean; stunning blue waters, stretches of unspoilt beach, and sometimes moody skies are all elements that feature heavily in Sally’s designs.
