Willagee Community Art Group

The Willagee Community Art Group is a small friendly group of about 25 amateur artists, many of whom have been meeting together for over 10 years.

The group includes a number of experienced artists, some who’ve won awards and sold numerous works but those of every skill level are most welcome and are made comfortable and helped and encouraged to develop their art.

Members use a diverse range of mediums and their styles vary widely so they have much to offer. Each and every member is keen to help others and a structured critique at the end of each session offers invaluable advice.

In recent years the group has begun to successfully exhibit and sell their art at various locations in and around the community and are extremely pleased to participate in Melville Open Studios in 2022 for the first time.

The group meets on Monday and Thursday afternoons and is based at Willagee Community Centre on the corner of Winnacott and Archibald Streets, Willagee where new members are always welcome.

The exhibition in place during Melville Open Studios 2022 will be officially open from Friday, 6 May to Wednesday, 18 of May at AH Bracks Library in Melville.
