Jennifer Gaye

Perth based Artist, Jennifer Gaye, has been designing and creating professionally for over 25 years.

Originally in fashion, and receiving awards and acknowledgements, including Designer of the year, Jennifer took her textiles to canvas in 2003 where her artwork has evolved and is on an ever-growing journey. 

Jennifer’s evolution and experimentation of her art processes developed through movement, light and reflection, which are translated through a mixed medium of colour, cloth, hand and machine stitch, paint, photographic and print.

These mediums have evolved to create artworks that reflect our nature and urbanity through mapping, pattern and shape. 

Jennifer Gaye’s unique textile artworks have been commissioned both locally and Internationally. 

Supporting other creatives, collaborating and diving into projects has become part of the journey. Jennifer’s most recent successes have been curating Popup galleries into visual art spaces for Jennifer’s artworks and other hand selected creatives. These spaces Jennifer is calling, ‘EMERGE GALLERY.
