Jan Burne

Jan Burne began painting relatively late in life.

She was initially interested in watercolour only, loving the way the colours blended together. Jan then moved on to realist oils, acrylics and pastels, until finally finding her place with fluid acrylic where the movement of paint creates fantastic effects, almost seductive. Jan prefers abstract landscape, with seascapes becoming more prominent in her recent works.
