Artist Bio
Fiona Buchanan is a Western Australian artist and teacher working in pastels, oils and mixed media. She creates large scale paintings of the ocean, portraits and still life interiors, and loves transparency, glass, fabric and water.
Fiona trained in theatre arts as a scenic artist and designer, and has exhibited in many exhibitions and is most proud of being a finalist in The Black Swan Award for Portraiture.
