Elle France works with oils and gouache to paint aesthetically pleasing scenarios, ranging from vast landscapes to scenes from daily life (such as a vase of locally grown native flowers).
From brilliant light streaming in from a sun-drenched window to the subtle hues of a fading sunset, Elle’s artworks capture light through colour, which she believes is the most powerful way to capture a sense of time and place.
